ProBit ZEBI AMA Recap

ProBit Exchange hosted an AMA for ZEBI on December 20 at 13:00 KST. The guests included CEO Sudheep Kuppam (@SudheerKuppam),
COO Pruthvi Rao (@pruthvirao), CFO Arun Rao (@Arunvrao), and
Sr. VP of Zebi Dat aPhani Arega (@phaniarega).

Q: In the current cryptocurrency ecosystem with all the advances made in the field, why do you guys think Zebi stands out from the rest of the pack?

Sudheer: We are one of the few companies in the blockchain ecosystem with real market traction. Our edu chain product blockchains 1.5M student records today.

Q: On the spectrum of centralization and decentralization, where does ZEBI stand and can Blockchain work efficiently in a complete decentralized manner?

Pruthvi: Zebi believes in a decentralized future! However, we do also provide enterprise blockchain stacks built using our IP.

Q: How your team is cooperating with the Indian government to adopt cryptocurrency?

Pruthvi: We do have to comply with laws wherever we operate, including India. We are seeing some positive developments and are looking forward to making this easier in the future.

Q: Could you tell us something about the adoption of Zebi? Like where you would love to see the usage of Zebi?

Pruthvi: Currently credentials are a major use case and that is growing well — at about 50–100K txns per month. We are looking to add new use cases based on the markets.

Q: What is Zebi Blockchain and how does it compare to other blockchains?

Phani: Zebi’s private blockchain platform has several differentiators compared to the likes of Hyperledger (BFT, search on any field, quick reads, and more );
Zebi’s public blockchain platform has good tps and has the differentiator of interblockchain communication.

Q: What sectors are you seeing new business in? For which vertical products?

Sudheer: Our new products in R&D span Asset tracking for global enterprises and secure cloud to prevent hacking for enterprises.

Q: Why did zebi choose probit as its partner? Is there any reason?

Pruthvi: Probit is a cool exchange ! They really supported us during the swap! High five guys! We look to give our token holders max liquidity and we are working with exchanges across markets.

Q: Could you tell me about your products which you are very proud of when you built the zebi project?

Pruthvi: Every small thing we do, we are doing with passion. I have not had a dull day in my life here :)

Q: What is your progressive plan to ensure that project Network remains relevant & valuable in the next 5 years, in terms of adoption and use-cases?
What is the vision of Zebi in the era of Blockchain technology?.

Phani: For 3rd generation blockchains, interoperability is an important feature that opens up more use cases and Zebi mainnet is focusing on that.
Zebi pvt blockchain platform is focusing on enterprise-grade features like flexible search, encryption, etc.
